Dr. Carlos Alberto Núñez Colín is a Professor-researcher of Genetic Resources, Anatomy and Management of Fruit Crops at the Universidad de Guanajuato (Mexico). He earned a Ph.D. from the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo (Mexico) in 2008 working with the Mexican hawthorn (tejocote). He has published for more than 63 scientific publications, one book, and four book chapters. In 2012-2013 we was the President of the Interamerican Society for Tropical Horticulturae.
