Acta Agrícola y Pecuaria

Acta Agrícola y Pecuaria, in collaboration with the Red Nacional de Ciruelas Mexicanas (Spondias spp.), presents Special Issue No. 1 (2026), dedicated to the publication of original scientific contributions on Mexican plum species (Spondias spp.).

This special issue was created to promote research and scientific dissemination on the diversity, biology, management, postharvest physiology, industrialization, and sustainable utilization of Spondias species, which represent valuable tropical genetic resources in Mexico and other regions of the world.

The issue welcomes original research articles, review papers, and scientific notes addressing topics such as botany and taxonomy, ethnobotany, phytochemistry, agronomic management, fruit development, integrated pest and disease management, harvest and postharvest technologies, and related areas.

Through this collaborative initiative, the Red Nacional de Ciruelas Mexicanas and Acta Agrícola y Pecuaria seek to strengthen scientific exchange and increase the visibility of research focused on the conservation, utilization, and value of Mexican plum species.
